Mary Matha Conference of St. Vincent De-Paul Society at Marygiri church was established on 20th August 1973 under the spiritual leadership of the then Vicar Rev. Fr. Varghese Njaliath. Bearing in mind the principles and holiness of the founder of the society, the members strive for many charitable activiries like adopting poor families, extending financial aides for education, medical treatment, marriage etc for poor and needy irrespective of caste and community. By undertaking these kind of activities without any publicity they are trying to find the fruit by practising what Jesus said " When you do these to the poor you are doing it unto me"

Womens Welfare Service
With a group of around 75 women under the leadership of the Mother Superior of the convent and the spiritual guidance of the Vicar, Women's Welfare Service tender a motherly care to the entire parish with their activities like helping the sick and the poor, providing financial helps for treatment, marriage etc. The association, founded in 1991, meets every 3rd Sunday of the month to pray and plan about the future programmes besides organising various seminrs and classes time to time.

Kerala Catholic Youth Movment, Marygiri Unit was formed in 2005. The aim of this movement is the total dvelopment and liberation of the youth in accordance with the Ctholic visions and primciples. It is to coordinate and empower the human potentials of youth based on the Gospel values, to make them effective agents of change in the socio-religious-political-economic and cultural reality of India, especially of Kerala through National integration. KCYM members are in the frontline for organising and executing various programmes like seminars, feasts and other activities which are meant to bring out and develop the hidden talents in the parisheners, especially the youth.

This movment include Women and Men, Single and Married, Ordained and Lay ,Young and Old - from all walks of life who wish to lead ordinary lives, called to follow Francis of Assisi by making Christ known and loved everywhere, spreading the spirit of love and unity in the area whereever they live by leading a simple life. The Franciscan Almaya Sabha of the parish was founded on 18th July 2004 at the Church. Now, with a stength of 35 members, they strive for witnessing Christ by leading a life of Love, Charity & Holiness.

Thirubhalasakhyam
Aiming at the formation of Children from their early stage in Catholic faith and principles, Thirubala Sakhyam uphold the slogan "To Jesus Through Mary" which functions under the Animatorship of Rev. Sisters. They assemble on every Thursday with prayer followed by classes on various subjects of their age.

Mariyan Sodality ( C L C)
There are arond 70 Nos of children in the C.L.C of Marygiri Parish. They function as two different groups here. The groups gather on every Saturday after the holy Mass and interact each other through discussions and group activities based on a particular topic in the Bible. They take out procession and pray at the grotto of Our Lady on every 2nd Saturday.

Sunday School
Like any other parishes, Maraygiri also take special care in bringing up the children in Christian values and morality. Sunday School is an essential part of the church as tomorrow's Christians are being moulded here who are supposed to form and lead the society,the Church and the Nation.

Sunday School of Marygiri parish is very much active and adjudged one of the best sunday school in the Diocese. The Catechists take well care of the students in developing their every talents apart from the teaching lessons. The Holy Mass at 9.30 of every Sunday is specially for the children and they themselves look after all the arrangements from decorating the church to offetry and readings etc.

The smallest integral unit of the global church is family. Growth and prosperity of each family attributes to the very existence and development of the Universal Church. Family units are different clusters within a parish comprising of equal number of families from a particular area. They gather once in a month in each family, pray together, reflection on Bible Passages, engage in various arts and sports activities and disperse after a fellowship with sharing of food. The motto is to enliven the spirit the first christians when they lived and assembled in one spirit and one heart during the begining of the Catholic Church. Family Units in Marygiri church was formed in the year 1990 by the initiative of Rev. Fr. Job Kelamparambil, the then vicar. Effective co-ordination of these units help to make all success the celebration of Parish Feasts, Various Public programmes, Christmas Carol etc.
